Wednesday Market located at the
St. Augustine Pavilion
open from 7:30 to 12:30

The St. Augustine Beach Civic Association will hold its April meeting on Tuesday the 10th at 7pm at City Hall. After the short business meeting board member Steve Mitherz of the Joyful Cork will hold a wine tasting. The meeting is open to the public and all are invited.
The Civic Association’s Farmer’s/Arts & Crafts market has been very busy this season. So busy that extra parking area parking was needed to accommodate all the shoppers. We’d like to thank Panama Hattie’s Restaurant for allowing us to use their parking lot, directly across the street from the market to ease the parking crunch. Signs will be put up to remind visitors. As parking has become a bit of an issue, we’d like to remind visitors that parking along the curb by the fire house will no longer be permitted. New no parking signs will be put up along the north side of the market. We expect these changes will make things easier and safer for everyone. For those who haven’t visited the market yet, it is open every Wednesday morning from 8am to 12:30 pm at the Pier Park on A1A Beach Blvd.
Planning continues for the Betty Griffin House TASTE OF THE BEACH on Sunday May 20th from 12 noon to 6pm. Shuttle buses from the COA have been arranged for off site parking at two locations- St. Augustine Beach City Hall at 16th Street and A1AS and the shopping plaza on A1AS between Pope Rd and SR312 (behind Amici’s Restaurant). Music this year will be provided by Joe Wytiaz and Friends, smooth jazz; and Deaux Oh, easy listening folk and rock. We’d also like to thank in advance the Judges for this year’s Taste: County Commissioner Tom Manuel, Sheriff David Shoar, Mayor Ed George, Beautification Committee Chairwomen Lynn Green and Jazz Society President Inge Erickson.
The Civic Association would like to welcome Wolf’s Head Books at 67 San Marco Ave. as a participating merchant offering a 10% discount to all Civic Association members. We now have over 20 restaurants and merchants who offer discounts for members.
